A key part of this ethos is to provide industry-recognised training programmes that work in partnership with some of Scotland’s leading colleges and universities. These include assistant site management, site management, health and safety, quantity surveying, estimating and buying. We also offer specialist roles in our OSM division consisting of contracts supervision, estimating and timber frame design.
Across our Group of Companies, CCG presently employs 30 trainees and we are immensely proud to say that many successfully embark on fulfilling and rewarding careers within the Group. A total of 7 graduates have been retained by CCG in 2019.
Upon graduating, CCG can also offer a streamlined approach to career advancement by providing higher education opportunities.
Working with our clients across the breadth of the country, including the likes of the Wheatley Group and their ‘Wheatley Pledge’, we also offer work placements to people, both young and of adult age, in order to gain valuable on-site or office-based experience. In doing so, we work with organisations from within the towns and cities in which we operate as part of our tailored community benefit programmes.
