The construction of a new state-of-the-art car Arch Facility in Ayr has been officially completed by CCG.
Located on Heathfield Road and delivered on behalf of Park’s Motor Group, the new facility took one year to build and has created 50 long-term jobs for the car sales industry. The Arch Facility will house a selection of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in a generous showroom space adjacent to the company’s old showroom on the corner of Heathfield Road and Lochfield Road.
CCG began work on the site in September 2016, following a series of projects the company had completed for Park’s Motor Group from 2011-13, including the iconic MINI and BMW showroom located on Glasgow’s Kyle Street.
Features of the new Jaguar Land Rover facility, which is now open to the general public, include a panoramic glass frontage and open landscaping to the sides of the building as well as a luxurious interior complete with showroom and high-specification office space for sales and office staff.
Calum Murray, Director of CCG (Scotland) Ltd said: “Over the past six years CCG has undertaken a number of high-profile and exciting projects with Park’s Motor Group and it was a privilege to be involved with the company once again on the creation of this new facility in Ayr.
“The development of car showrooms involves the clever use of structural steel frames and a mix of traditional and more contemporary cladding which is always a good challenge for the team. This project required strict construction management protocols to ensure safe and effective work while operating on one of the main thoroughfares through the town.
“We look forward to continuing our work with Park’s Motor Group over the years ahead.”
