CCG SBS performed extensive upgrade works for Police Scotland at one of their divisional offices in Paisley.
This once drab and dreary building, constructed in the late 1960’s, was formerly clad in ribbed concrete panels which had aged and over time caused damage in certain areas of the building. Due to the complexity of these panels, CCG SBS were unable to remove this cladding solution and so, innovatively, the site team installed an aluminium rail and bracket system directly over the surface with a modern-looking rainscreen finish.
The project was delivered within a 28 week duration whilst the building was still fully open. The CCG SBS site team were highly commended in their management skills deploying innovative measures to assist officers entering in and out of the building as well as preventing potential criminals escaping from the premises.
