CCG has undertaken several, large window installation contracts for Port of Leith Housing Association over a period of many years with the improvement of flatted and tenemental housing stock. All works have been performed by CCG Asset Management with various contracts delivered in partnership with CCG Manufacturing.
The latest contracts to have been completed come in the form of Pre 1919 and Pre 1980 housing stock with over 280 properties undertaken. The Pre 1919 renewal (Year 2) involved 156 properties in the Leith area of Edinburgh and involved the installation of traditional sash and case UPVC windows. The Post 1980 renewal (Year 3), undertaken to 129 properties in Ferry Road and Lochend South, had a mix of CCG Manufacturing’s Timber Fully Reversible and Timber Dual Turn Window installed, each dependant on the type of property.
Based at CCG’s headquarters in Cambuslang, CCG Manufacturing is a bespoke, zero-waste facility that manufactures timber window and door products across a semi-automated CNC production line. The Fully Reversible Window is made to exacting specification while an automated paint line offers a limitless choice of colours that fully coats the timber surface prior to final assembly to maximise product longevity and a more efficient installation process.
CCG’s ongoing partnership with Port of Leith HA will continue in 2018/19.
