TWO CCG PROJECTS WIN CIH EXCELLENCE AWARD

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Scotland hosted their annual ‘Excellence Awards’ last Thursday (01/11/2018) with two CCG projects picking up awards.

Already a double award-winner in 2018, Dougrie Drive won the ‘Excellence in Development for Affordable Housing’ award. Dougrie Drive is located south of Glasgow city centre in the area of Castlemilk. Comprising 130 homes, the development offers a stunning range of house types including a large courtyard amenity block and traditional terraced housing that bookend the main run of ‘courtyard clusters’ – small buildings of semi-detached houses and cottage flats, grouped around public, semi-private and private external spaces.

The second award win was granted to the recently completed Anderston Phase 4 & 5, the final delivery of the 10-year ‘Anderston Regeneration Masterplan’ in Glasgow. The 206-home development was granted the ‘Excellence in Regeneration’ Award and adds to a suite of accolades picked up by previous phases.

CCG would like to wish our congratulations to Glasgow Housing Association, part of Wheatley Group, and Sanctuary Scotland on receiving their respective awards.
