One of the most well-respected and coveted awards ceremonies on the Scottish property calendar, The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2024 will “honour the achievements of Scotland’s most innovative and successful home and commercial builders, developers, agents, interior designers and registered social landlords”.
First up is the FOUR-TIME nominated Dundashill Plot 3A. Delivered on behalf of West Scot Lettings, a subsidiary of West of Scotland Housing Association, it is the first of several phases that form part of the Dundashill Regeneration Masterplan and at 90 homes, it is the largest Passivhaus-accredited development in Scotland.
A pioneering example of sustainability in housebuilding, the project will be vying for the Best Apartment, Best Regeneration (Residential), Excellence in Sustainability, and Development of the Year awards.
The 134-home Burns Road for Sanctuary Scotland in Cumbernauld, the final phase of the town centre, multi-storey regeneration strategy, has been nominated in the Best Regeneration (Residential) and Best Affordable Housing categories, with two individual nominations for CCG Homes’ stunning Calderwood Lodge (Best Apartment) and Wheatley Group’s, 54-home Watson Street (Best Regeneration Residential).
Our final nomination is in the Best Regeneration Commercial category for the award-winning, Paisley Learning and Cultural Hub. Hot on the heels of winning a Scottish Design Award in June, the excellent development, delivered on behalf of Renfrewshire Council, which has reinvigorated a former shop front, continues receiving industry acclaim.
