MAINTENANCE PAINTER

CCG is looking for a fully qualified Painter with a proven track record in building maintenance to add to our current maintenance division. The job involves carrying out general maintenance duties and repair work, primarily to occupied properties.

A company van will be provided, and a clean driving licence is essential as CCG’s operational base covers the entire central belt with projects further afield.

Salary: £14.50 p/h paid weekly
Hours: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm; with additional hours worked as per project demands

The Role

• Inspect problem areas and carry out necessary remedial work.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs delivered and communicate with CCG’s Customer Care staff on progress and completions.
• Customer-focused – working with a range of client staff, the general public and end users of properties.
• Liaise with colleagues, provide information on underlying causes of particular remedial work requirements and advise on how they can be avoided.

Skills and Requirements 

• Knowledge of Health & safety practice
• Multi-skilled
• Capable of working in a variety of circumstances – on live building sites, occupied houses, at height, and within confined spaces.
• Flexible attitude to respond to priority calls and appointments.
• Ability to deal with paperwork
• Full clean UK driving licence.
