QUEENS VIEW HARBOUR LUXURY SUITES, TROON

CCG (Scotland) has worked in partnership with Morrison Community Care Group, one of Scotland’s leading private care developers, since 2017 first beginning with Abbottsford House Luxury Suites in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire.

At the time, this development was the largest of its kind undertaken by CCG comprising 45, private en-suites and a range of luxury facilities. This, however, would soon be followed by Kingsacre Luxury Suites in Duntocher, a 66-bed development, and, more recently, Queens View Harbour.

Located in Templehill, Troon, Queens View takes advantage of its stunning seaside location with views towards the Firth of Clyde and private grounds for residents to enjoy at their leisure.

Internally, a total of 56 en-suite beds are provided and complemented by Morrison Community Care’s trademark, luxury specification with a champagne bar, private dining area and a hair salon with the remainder of the ground floor complete with a cinema, high-specification cooking facilities, laundry services and office space for managerial staff.

Expert nurses are also on hand 24/7 to provide residential, nursing and dementia care services.

Morrison Community Care sold the development to another leading provider with the doors officially opened in August 2021.

The delivery of Queens View Harbour utilised the extensive expertise of the CCG Group: Main Construction services are complemented by CCG’s in-house manufacturing capability both in the creation of the ‘iQ’ Timber System – a panelised wall solution forming part of the building’s superstructure – as well as enhanced timber door sets.

Full plumbing and flooring installation services were also provided whilst CCG was also able to call upon the support of Arc-Tech (Scotland), who, as a member of the CCG Group, were able to deliver a full turnkey M&E Services package including all fire, data and security systems as well as heating and ventilation, amongst others.
