Her day-to-day role in OSM, which is one of the UK’s most advanced offsite manufacturing facilities, involves doing pre-checks on CAD drawings before they are sent to the manufacturing line and utilised in the production of the ‘iQ’ Timber System. She also compiles reports for cutting lists and creates drawing information for different areas of the production process.
Lisa also maintains and repairs machinery and tools but before joining OSM and working for many different companies, she started her career as a joinery apprentice. She credits her apprenticeship for helping her learn the skills that have helped her in her career so far; she greatly enjoys her position within the OSM factory and sees a long-term future with the company with lots of training and progression opportunities.
