The accolade, presented at a glitzy ceremony in Glasgow, commemorates CCG’s commitment to sustainability in housebuilding, ranging from our methods of building and materials to our approach to innovation and addressing the net zero climate agenda.
CCG is recognised as a pioneer for offsite manufacturing in Scotland, a key element in addressing environmental credentials within the homes that we construct across the breadth of the country which currently comprises over 2300 homes including over 900 that are either a low carbon or operational net zero standard of build.
The award has swiftly followed a similar accolade that was granted to CCG a month earlier. Homes for Scotland, an industry body that works on behalf of companies and stakeholders in the Scottish construction industry, hosted their Annual Lunch and Awards in Edinburgh on the 17th of May and announced CCG as the winner of People | Place | Planet.
Again highlighting CCG’s approach to sustainable housebuilding, the award also considered ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and how we apply these aspects to support our people and the wider environment.
