CCG PROJECT SHORTLISTED FOR ARCHITECTS JOURNAL AWARD

The Architects’ Journal has announced a CCG project as a finalist for this year’s prestigious AJ Architecture Awards.

From winning a GIA (Glasgow Institute of Architects) Award in November 2022 to winning the Scottish Design GOLD Award for Affordable Housing this summer, North Gate is a development that continues to receive national recognition and it is easy to see why with its stunning architectural form a leading example of affordable housebuilding in the United Kingdom.

With a long list of awards recognition, one of the most prestigious award bodies has followed suit with the AJ Awards highlighting the very best projects across 17+ categories from housing, health, and wellbeing to workplace and culture. View the full list of categories here.

Open to architectural practices, regardless of size or scale, we are delighted to see Page/Park scoop this most competitive of nominations for a project that was delivered by CCG on behalf of New Gorbals Housing Association. 

Comprising 31 one and two-bedroom flats, North Gate is the culmination of 30 years of regeneration on Crown Street in the southside of Glasgow. A gateway development, it is a city landmark unlike any other.

The awards are set to take place on the 22nd of November at a glistening ceremony in London. We extend our best wishes to Page/Park and wish them the best of luck!
