St Andrew’s First Aid is Scotland’s dedicated first aid charity and a leading first aid training provider. Founded in 1882, donations are used to support volunteer work which specialises in raising awareness about first aid and providing vital life-saving education, particularly in communities where the need is greatest.
This is the 10th year that St Andrew’s First Aid has been recognising extraordinary people, schools, communities, and employers across Scotland who have gone above-and-beyond their legal first aid responsibilities to make their communities safer by delivering outstanding acts of first aid. Our Robbie, who is currently helping to deliver Whitlawburn Regeneration – a 311-unit, mixed-tenure housing development – in Cambuslang, is one of several finalists nominated as a ‘first aid hero’ for his amazing efforts in giving emergency aid whilst on-site.
CCG is extremely proud of Robbie’s efforts and we will be cheering him on at the awards ceremony which is taking place in Glasgow on the 31st of March.
