The awards, presented since 1966, recognise the best of UK architecture and provide insight into the country’s design and social trends, and have this year recognised North Gate as a leading example of architecture in affordable housebuilding.
The 31-home development, constructed by CCG on behalf of New Gorbals Housing Association, was announced as a winner of a Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Award in June and is now one of only 26 projects to receive this prestigious, national accolade.
Each project will now be automatically put forward for a RIBA Stirling Prize with a shortlist due to be announced in late July 2024.
The award was granted to project architect Page/Park. For more information on this year’s winners, CLICK HERE.
