PLANNING SUBMITTED FOR NEW HOMES IN CUMBERNAULD

Planning has been submitted to deliver 44 homes on the site of a former office block in Seafar, Cumbernauld.

CCG, working with S2 Architecture, aim to repurpose the site once belonging to Lennox House by constructing a single, five-storey flatted block providing a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

The area of Seafar and Kildrum has seen extensive regeneration in recent years where twelve high-rise tower blocks have been replaced with various new build developments including the recently-completed Burns Road in Kildrum which now provides 133 mixed-tenure flats and was a project that was delivered by CCG, with Collective Architecture, on behalf of Sanctuary Scotland. The project was recently nominated for a Scottish Home Award and is also a finalist for the Inside Housing Development Awards which are set to take place in London later this year.
