The site was formerly home to premises of Clober Golf Club comprising primarily of storage facilities for greenkeeper staff and is adjacent to a densely-populated residential development.
Clearly visible across the road, the golf course enhances the care home’s offering of seclusion, a key aim in creating a comfortable environment for the elderly residents. This promotion of comfort is felt throughout the 45-bed development which has been specially designed to provide a luxury level of service both in amenity and in health in the creation of a “home from home” experience. This includes private, en-suite bedrooms private bathroom space with a variety of rooms that are fully adapted to suit those with decreased mobility, four dining rooms; a hair and beauty salon; a ten-seater cinema and private gardens with the added amenity of a putting green.
Expert staff are also available to provide 24/7 health services with a specialist ward and office space created to support staff.
CCG constructed the development entirely though using the ‘iQ’ Timber System complete with a high degree of internal specification to promote enhanced thermal performance.
