KILBRYDE HOSPICE, EAST KILBRIDE

Kilbryde Hospice is a voluntary, independent hospice that exists to provide specialist palliative care to patients with life-limiting progressive illnesses, and to their relatives and carers.

The bespoke facility is located adjacent to Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride and offers 12 self-contained bed spaces with specialist facilities to ensure that patients who either remain in the facility or visit, as well as their families, are offered a comfortable ‘home-like environment.

As well as offering live-in accommodation, the Hospice has many communal activity areas with ‘drop in’ support services, a hairdressers salon, café and fully landscaped garden areas. Space is also offered via a number of private meeting rooms and a number of offices for administrative staff.

The Kilbryde Hospice was constructed using the CCG ‘iQ’ Timber System – integrated with floor and roof cassettes – whilst all internal, external, common and close entrance doors were supplied in-house via CCG Manufacturing.
