Building Futures

RAINBOW FAMILY CENTRE, PORT GLASGOW

Delivered as part of Inverclyde Council’s £250 education improvement programme, the Rainbow Family Centre (Park Farm) has helped increase the availability of high-quality, early learning facilities in Port Glasgow.

Located just outside of the town centre, the project, which was undertaken in partnership with hub West Scotland, involved the new build extension to existing premises in order to increase the number of spaces available for pupils (aged between 2 and 5) as well as facilities for faculty.

Park Farm was undertaken in tandem with an entirely purpose-built facility in Greenock known as Larkfield Early Learning Centre and is one of five educational builds that have been delivered by CCG on behalf of the Council since 2017.

The integrated services of the CCG Group came together to enable its delivery with full main construction services that were complemented by the use of the ‘iQ’ Timber System for timber infill panels to the wall zones, internal door manufacturing and flooring installation as well as a turnkey M&E service package that was designed and installed by Arc-Tech (Scotland).

Works were undertaken over the duration of 1 year with the formal opening of the building undertaken in late-2021.
