TWO CCG PROJECTS WIN INSIDE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AWARDS

On Friday 29 September at Royal Lancaster, London, the 2023 Inside Housing Development Awards offered an opportunity to celebrate the very best residential developments across the UK over the past year with two CCG projects scooping some of the top prizes.

The awards: ‘celebrate the very best residential developments across the UK, with categories recognising the teams, schemes, tenures, and solutions that have made a positive impact on local communities’.

Winning its second award in as many days, Queens Quay is a 146-home development that forms part of the large-scale, mixed-use regeneration of the former John Brown Shipyard in Clydebank. Delivered by CCG on behalf of Loretto, a member of Wheatley Group, West Dunbartonshire Council, and Clydebank Housing Association, the development came away with the ‘Best Affordable Housing Development – Scotland’ prize.

The win swiftly followed the Best Regeneration – Housing Award win for the development at the previous evening’s Herald Property Awards and is the third of 2023.

After being recognised by many awards bodies over the course of this year, Cromdale Square,, designed by Grant Murray Architects in collaboration with HOOS Developments, secured the Best Regeneration 0-100 Homes Award representing the first-ever new build housing award won by the client, Linthouse Housing Association, Comprising 49 homes built on the site of the former Drumoyne Primary School in Govan, Glasgow, it is a leading example of urban regeneration south of the Clyde.
